AFA Grad Kelsey in SemiFinals!

Zoomie Seth Kelsey (USAFA Class of 2003) won three matches this morning (Wednesday Aug 1) to advance to the semifinals in Men’s Individual Epee in Olympic fencing!

Watch the replay on NBColympics.com. On my system, initially the video did not play correctly. Messing with the fast forward slider and the tools icon eventually got the video to play correctly. The website is so packed with information that it is difficult to navigate, and heaven forbid if you accidentally mouse across an advertisement. The good news is that there are several ways to navigate to the replays. The bad news is that I never manage to navigate to them in the same way. Here is the link I liked best.

I remember when the TV networks never aired women’s sports. Now, NBC has only scheduled women’s fencing for broadcast. Of course, if Seth makes it to the medal rounds, hopefully NBC will cover it.

Captain Kelsey will compete in the semifinal later today, at 12:30 pm EDT.

Now, if Dartanian Warr or Sue McAdoo would explain to me how the competition works. What is with all those green and red lights? If you know, please explain it in the comments. Thanks!
